Your Draft Ceremony Plan

Stage 4: Planning the prayers

Prayers are unique to church weddings. They express what you would like to say to God on your wedding day. You may like to ask him for something, or say thank you for the things you're grateful for, or invite God to help you throughout your marriage. You may also want to include prayers for the wider family or friends. Your vicar is skilled and experienced in developing prayers. If you'd like to choose prayers or make prayer requests, you can record that here. If you’d rather talk to your vicar about the prayers and be led by their advice, simply move on to the next stage of the planner without making any selections.

Ready-to-use prayers

These prayers are ready-made for weddings. If you like any of them, select it to include in your plan. Once selected, you can ask the vicar about inviting someone to say it during the service, if you'd like that:-
